When we do everything to be loved and we can not, there is one last resort left: do nothing else.
Therefore, I say, when we do not obtain the love, the affection or the tenderness that we asked for, it would be better to give up and look further for the feelings that denied us. Do not make useless efforts, because love is born, or not, spontaneously, but never by force of imposition.
Sometimes it is useless to try too hard, nothing is achieved, Other times we give nothing and love surrenders at our feet. The feelings are always a surprise! They were never a begging charity, a compassion or a favor bestowed. We almost always love those who love us badly, and despise those who love us best. So, I repeat, when we have done everything to get a love, and failed, there is only one way left ... there is nothing else to do.
